Wilda H. Bagley
MISSOULA - Wilda H. Bagley, 87, of Missoula, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at home of natural causes.She was born on April 15, 1917, in Lewisville, Ohio to Earl and Nellie Lumbatis. As a young girl she lived there with her parents. After graduation she continued to live and work in Lewisville.On Oct. 15, 1988, she married William (Bill) R. Bagley while in Ohio visiting her family. The couple then returned to their place of residence in Missoula. She was previously united in marriage to Irvin Baker and Walter Kahrig.She was a member of the Senior Citizens where she and Bill enjoyed dancing and socializing with their many friends.Wilda enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling and many crafts. She especially had a love of flowers and spent many hours amongst her beautiful flower gardens. Some of the crafts she enjoyed were crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Wilda took much pride in keeping a lovely home. Wilda also loved to travel at home and abroad. On two occasions she and Bill had the opportunity to tour Europe.Wilda was proceeded in death by parents, Earl and Nellie Lumbatis; son Gary Baker; and spouses Irvin Baker and Walter Kahrig.Survivors include her husband William R. Bagley of Missoula; her brother, Paul Lumbatis and wife Rosemary of Ohio; four grandchildren Carla Crum, Debbie Foraker, Gary Brett Baker and Tonya Ward, also of Ohio; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two step-children, John Kahrig and wife Sally of Portland, Ore. and Sandra Johnson and husband David of Missoula.Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 29, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Boschmann officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery. There will be a reception at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home after the burial.Pallbearers will be Gary Brett Baker, John Kahrig, Dave Strate, David Johnson and Jim Calcaterra.The family suggests memorials to Partners in Home Care, 500 N. Higgins Ave., Missoula, MT 59802.
