Gladys L. Lude nee Jackson
LUDE, Gladys L., age 87, of Syracuse, Ohio, formerly of Moundsville, West Virginia, died Monday, August 7, 2006 at the home of her son, Roger. She was born in Antioch, Ohio on August 29, 1918, the daughter of the late Alva E. and Charlottie Brown Jackson. She was a homemaker; and mother of six children. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Pomeroy, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Wilbur H. Lude in 2002; one son, Don F. Lude of Indiana; five brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by one son, Roger Lude and his wife, Shirley of Syracuse; four daughters, Garnet Blake and her husband, Lonnie, of New Martinsville, W.Va, Connie Martin and her husband, Charles, of Moundsville, Cathy Ramsay and her husband, Martin, of Powhatan Point, Ohio and Sandra Ferrie and her husband, Albert, of Cleveland, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Suzy Lude of Indiana; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the Bauer- Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul Street, Woodsfield, Ohio, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 with Minister Paul Casebolt officiating. Interment in the West Union Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the West Union Cemetery, c/o Bob Kenney, 43074 Co. Rd. 10 A, Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.

Gladys L. Lude, 87, of Syracuse, Ohio, formerly of Moundsville, W.Va., died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006 at the home of her son, Roger. She was born in Antioch, Ohio, on Aug. 29, 1918, a daughter of the late Alva E. and Charlottie Brown Jackson.
She was a homemaker and a mother of six children. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Pomeroy, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Wilbur H. Lude, 2002; one son, Don F. Lude of Indiana; five brothers and one sister.
