Lindamood, 87, died Wednesday evening, March 9, at 8:40 o'clock at his home at 112 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. He was born November 25, 1892, at Sycamore Valley, Monroe County, a son of the late Martin L. and Esther Westbrook Lindamood. On December 21, 1899 he married Anna Kochert who survives. Mr. Lindamood had operated a general store at Marr for eighteen years and had been engaged in farming until his retirement in 1939. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Sixth and Washington Streets in Marietta and was a director of the Marietta Savings and Loan Co. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and three daughters, Ronald W. Lindamood, Emerson C. Lindamood, Mrs. E.A. Brum and Mrs. Hillis Iams, of Marietta, and Mrs. Lucille Schmelick of Belpre. One daughter, Mrs. Mabel Mobberly, is deceased. There are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister survive. They are Frank Lindamood, of Los Angeles, California; Glad Lindamood, of Dover; Carl Lindamood and Mrs. Lina Grey, of Somerton. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Doudna and McClure Funeral Home in Marietta, with Fred Dennis and Justus Hesson officiating.
