Brubach and Rosa Burkhart Brubach.He owned and operated the Hamilton Tavern in Baltimore for more than 30 years. He was also employed by the Baltimore City Bureau of Recreation and Parks for 15 years.He was a member of Ocean City Knights of Columbus, Ocean City Lions Club, Ocean City Elks Club, American Heart Association, Ocean City Senior MAC Center, Caine Woods Community Association, American Association of Retired Persons, Hamilton Business Men?s Association, Hamilton Democratic Club, Clifton Pleasure Club and St. Luke?s Catholic Church in Ocean City. He was a past president of the Gibbons Club.He is survived by his wife, Dorothy P. Brubach; a son, Jerry Brubach of Finksburg, Maryland; two daughters, Rose Chester of Bel Air, Maryland and Kris Gomez of West Chester, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Michael Chester, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, David Chester of Woods Hole, MA, Laura Chester of Miami, Andrew Gomez of West Chester, and Brian Brubach of Finksburg; two step-grandchildren, Michael Gomez and Edward Gomez of West Chester; a great-granddaughter, Hilary Chester of Gaithersburg; two brothers, Albert Brubach of Bridgeport and Paul Brubach of Woodsfield; two sisters, Marie O?Connell and Lillie Calvert, both of Woodsfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.A funeral Mass was held at St. Luke?s Catholic Church on 100th Street in Ocean City with the Reverend William Porter officiating.
