Richard Schwartz passed away April 5, 2020 at 86 years of age. He was the
son of Jacob and Anna Marie Schwartz. He was one of five children. The
other four were Norman Schwartz, Helen Hoelscher, Elizabeth Ann Sandbothe,
and Harold Eugene Schwartz(born April 8, 1946). All four of them are still
living. When I get their birth date I will send the information to you.

Gilbert R. Schwartz, 86, departed this life on Sunday April 5. 2020 at his home in Boonville, MO.
A private family service for Gilbert will be held at a later date with inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery in Jefferson City. As per his request he will be cremated.
Gilbert R. Schwartz was born October 16, 1933 in Boonville, MO, the number two son of Anna Marie (Gerke) Schwartz and Jacob J. Schwartz. Gilbert left Boonville upon graduation from high school and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Upon leaving the Marines, he applied for, and was accepted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a member of the first recruit class of 1958. He spent the rest of his working life as an officer of the Highway Patrol and retired as a lieutenant. At the time of her death, September 6, 2015, he had been married to his beloved wife Vera for 46 years.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Anna Marie (Gerke) Schwartz, stepson George Bowman, and wife Vera (Specht) Schwartz. He is survived by his children Nancy Schwartz Bemboom of Jefferson City, Missouri, Rebecca Schwartz and husband Tom Edwards of Indialantic, Florida, Elizabeth Schwartz Schrader and husband David of Augusta, Missouri, Mary Ann Bratton of Springfield, Missouri, and Debbie Bowman of Blue Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by brothers Jacob ?Norman? Schwartz and wife Joyce of Boonville, Missouri, Harold G. Schwartz and wife Sandi of Overland Park, Kansas, sisters Helen Marie Hoelscher and husband Vern of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Betty Sandbothe of Boonville, Missouri. He will be dearly missed by his many friends, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
?Farewell, life is setting on the things I did and those I left undone. Thank you, Vera; I love you still, it was a great trip ? I?ll be on that cloud waiting----?
