Robert W. Bertram, 56 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 26, 2008.
Bob was born in Canton, served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and obtaining the rank of Master Sgt. and had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service for the past ten years. He was a member of HighPointe Christian Church and he loved golf, camping, all sports and working with kids. The most important thing in his life was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Bertram; children, Bob (Desiree') Bertram, Brent (April) Bertram, Jeremy Villers, Jared Villers and Shelby Villers; grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Kegan, Delani, Dawson, Cole and Cooper; mother, Kathryn Bertram; father, Warren Bertram; brothers, Fred (Cyndie) Bertram and Steve Bertram and five nephews.
Funeral services WEDNESDAY 11 a.m. at the HighPointe Christian Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd., Clinton, Ohio with Scott Pugh officiating. Burial with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Visitation TUESDAY 3 to p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to time of service, both days at HighPointe Christian Church. Donations may be made to the American Heart Asso.
