Mrs. Emma Melinda Kilburn, 74, of 413 East Marietta Street, Woodsfield, died April 11, 1973 at 2:15 o?clock in Barnesville Hospital after an illness.
She was born in Monroe County, Ohio, April 22, 1898, the daughter of the late Samuel and Matilda Hines Bintz.
Mrs. Kilburn was a member of the Woodsfield United Methodist Church and the Wesleyan Service Guild of the Church. She was also a member of World War II Barracks No. 3505 Auxillary.
Surviving are her husband, Homer Kilburn; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Leona) Leach, of Barnesville and Mrs. Hobert (Rita) Winland of Breman; one son, Clyde Kilburn of Woodsfield; one sister, Mrs. Theodore (Hilda) English of Barnesville; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services were held Friday afternoon at one o?clock in the Michener Funeral Home on Eastern Avenue with the Rev. George E. Bender officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, at Lewisville.
