  [S927] Obituary. Anna V. Cater nee Burkhart Anna V. Cater, 78, of 505 South Chestnut St., Barnesville, died Wednesday in Barnesville Health Care Center. She ws born March 31, 1907 at Temperanceville, daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Jefferies Burkhart. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club, Altar and Rosary Society, and American Legion Auxiliary all at Barnesville, and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Cater, in 1980, and two sisters and a brother. Surviving are a brother, Joseph Burkhart of Temperanceville; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Emma) Doudna of Barnesville, several nieces and nephews. Friends received at the Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home, Barnesville, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church, with the Rev. Charles Mascolino officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption Church. Burial will be held Saturday in Assumption Cemetery.
