He took over his father?s Batt Construction Company and also owned Batt Insurance Company in Sheboygan. In Florida, he was a foreman for Clark & Logan Construction Company in Clearwater, Fla. He was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Fla. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mae A. Batt of Palm Harbor; one son, James K. Batt of Tampa, Fla.; one daughter, Lisa Howard of Ridgefield, Wash. and two grandchildren. The Curlew Hills Funeral Home of Palm Harbor, FL is assisting the family. The Sheboygan Press August 14, 2005
