Aberdeen American News Feb 18, 2001Emily FeiockAberdeen - The funeral for Emily Feiock, 78, of 1324 12th Ave. S.E., will beat 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church 1500 E. Melgaard Rd. The Rev.Harold E. Salem and Rev. Herbert Schauer will officiate.Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Spitzer-Osthus Funeral Home, 320Sixth Ave. S.E. is in charge of arrangements.She died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, at her home.Emily Edna Schauer was born Aug. 25, 1922, to Andrew and Lydia (Jenner)Schauer at Ashley, N.D. She attended school in Ashley. She also attendedJunior College in Ellendale, N.D. and then went on to earn her Bachelor ofArts degree at Sioux Falls College.She married Leo Feiock on Dec. 22, 1946, at Ashley. She taught school inAshley and Aberdeen areas.Survivors include her husband of Aberdeen; one son; Greg (Pat) Feoick ofInver Grove Hights, Minn., one daughter, Jean (George) Houghton of Wausau,Wis.; one brother, Rev. Herbert Schauer of Hebron, N.D., two sisters, RubySukut of Bismarck, N.D. and Glenna Fouberg of Aberdeen; and fivegrandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.Casketbearers will be her nephews: Robert Fouberg, Daniel Fouberg, TerranceKetterling, Austen Schauer, Elmo Feiock and Timothy Steinwandt.The family prefers memorials to First Baptist Church, 1500 E. Melgaard Rd.,Aberdeen, S.D. 57401.
