She was born Aug. 29, 1913, to Lewis and Minnie Christman Heft. She had been an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Woodsfield, and was actively involved with the church's Junior Women's Guild for more than 50 years. She was also a member of Woodsfield Chapter 268, Order of Eastern Star; Monroe County Bureau; and Farm Bureau Council for more than 60 years. She was also active with the Monroe County Agricultural Extension Committee, Jerusalem Homemakers, and Ruritan fund-raising events. She loved family farm life and travel.She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clarence W. Reich; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bartilson and her husband, Matt, of Hilliard, Ohio; two sons, Paul Reich and his wife, Darla, of Middletown, Ohio, and Merle Reich of Gahanna, Ohio; two brothers, Stanley Heft and his wife, Ethel, of Woodsfield and William Heft and his wife, Martha, of Clearwater, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Theodore, Francis, Paul and Charles Heft; and one sister, Bessie Heft Sutherland.Services were to be at 11 a.m. today at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, with the Rev. Richard Wilson and the Rev. Clifton Garris officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery in Woodsfield.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 301 S. Main St., Woodsfield, Ohio 43793.
