Sible Elva, 95, of R. 2, Churubusco, died in her home Jan. 1. She was born Jan. 21, 1875 in Allen County, the daughter of Harvey and Jane (Sayers) Rice. She was married in 1905 to Elmer O. Sible and they lived on a farm south of Collins until 1919, when they moved to Churubusco. In 1921 they moved to the present farm. Her husband died Oct. 2, 1951. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Clarence, R. 2, Churubusco, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral Jan. 4 in Sheets Funeral Home Burial, Eel River Cemetery. ~ 1-7-1971
