  [S927] Obituary. Emma C. (Gallagher) Doudna nee Burkhart Emma C. Doudna, 86, of 410 S. Broadway St., Barnesville, died Thursday in Barnesville Hospital. She was born December 5, 1900 at Temperanceville, a daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Jefferis Burkhart. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club and Altar and Rosary Society, all of Barnesville. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Gallagher; two sons; two daughters; a brother and three sisters. Surviving are her husband, Clarence Doudna; two sons, Donald Gallagher of Canton, Larry Gallagher of Junction City; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Ruth) Miller of Woodsfield, Mrs. Willis (Rosalie) Carpenter of Beallsville; a brother, Joseph Burkhart of Temperanceville; 31 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren. Friends received at Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home, Barnesville, 2 to 9 p.m. today, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles Mascolino the celebrant. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. today.
