Mr. Schumacher had been in bad health with dropsy and heart trouble for some time. He was born in Bavaria, Germany, in 1850, and at the age of five years came to this country with is parents and ever since has resided in this County.In 1878 he was united in marriage to Margaret Glaser. He leaves a wife and five children - Clement, Sylvester, Margaret Riesbeck, Leo and Mary Schumacher and seven brothers. Deceased was a member of the Catholic Church and an upright citizen. He resided in this community all his life. The funeral will take place at the Catholic Church Saturday morning at 9:30 standard time with the interment being in the Church cemetery.
