(Stoebner) Kieffer passed quietly from this world on May 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William, in May 2003. She is survived by children, Barbara (Richard) Sparhawk, William (Karen) Kieffer, Craig (Jeannie) Kieffer, Candice Kieffer, Karen (Walt) Pollard; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, sister, Velda McTighe of Idaho, and sister-inlaw, Betty Kieffer of Akron, to whom Geneva owes $10 since she lost "the bet." Geneva liked to gamble. At The Merriman, where Geneva resided the last three years, she was well attended by a very loving nursing staff, and by the special Tridia hospice staff, Noreen and Renae. She loved them all like family. Geneva was known for her constant smile and as the fastest "walker" on the nursing unit. Geneva's dying wish was to see her Mother; certainly they are together once again. Family service is being held 11 a.m. TODAY, May 26, 2012 at the Adams Mason Funeral Home (791 East Market Street).
