Shirley Feiock, nee HallbergSource: The Monroe County Beacon, Woodsfield, Ohio, August 1994 Shirley Elaine Hallberg Feiock, age 73, of 3591 Smith-Kramer Road, N. E., Hartville, died Thursday afternoon, August 18, 1994, in her residence. A Hartville resident for the past 23 years, she was formerly of Alliance, and was a 1938 graduate of Traverse City High School in Michigan. She was currently a member of Meadowlake Golf club. She was a former member of Hartville Garden Club and Welcome Wagon. She was an Army veteran of World War II and was among the first group of women to serve overseas. She served in the Mediterranean Theater and was a recipient of the Bronze Star for exceptionally Meritorious Service.Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles E. Feiock III; two brothers, Gerald Hallberg of Midland, Michigan and John Hallberg of Royal Oak, Michigan.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Florence Clement Hallberg.Graveside services were held August 22 at 1 p.m. in Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville, Ohio. Calling hours were at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pagasus Farm or the Stark County Humane Society.
