He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Indiana. He is survived by his son, Charles Hauswald of Finchville, Kentucky, a daughter, Kerri Hauswald of Louisville, Kentucky, a sister, Barbara Freeman of Louisville, Kentucky and his grandchildren, Matthew Hanna, Luke Hanna, Mattie Hauswald and Lola Hauswald. A Mass of Christian will be at 10 AM Saturday, January 2, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, IN. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
