Lawrence 'Larry' Demaniow COLSTRIP Lawrence "Larry" Demaniow, 66, of Colstrip, formerly of Billings, passed away peacefully at the Rosebud Health Care Center in Forsyth on Wednesday, May 30, 2001. Larry was born Aug. 2, 1934, in Belfield, N.D., the oldest of six children, to William and Annie Pedleski Demaniow. He spent his youth and attended grade school in Belfield, graduating from high school in Dickinsoa On Jan. 23, 1956, Larry was united in marriage to Eugenia (Jeanie) Scheeler in Belfield. They moved to Billings, where Larry worked for Jerry's IGA and in 1976, moved to Colstrip, where he continued to work for IGA for a total of 35 years. Larry and Jeanie have continued to make Colstrip their home since retiring. Larry was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Colstrip, was a Lay Brother of the Carmelite Order and a member of the Legion of, Mary in Billings. He enjoyed gardening, pulling his grandchildren in the red wagon and walking .with his constant canine companions. He is survived by his, wife Jeanie of Colstrip; nine children, Laura Demaniow of Minn., Lee Demaniow of Wyo., Dean Demaniow and his wife Angela of Colo., Mark Demaniow of Colo., Lisa Demaniow of Mont, Janine Perry and her husband Morgan of Mina, Lawretta Miller and her husband Dana of Mont, Marian Demaniow of Mont, and James Demaniow of Mont; 12 grandchildren, Miranda, Harmony, Andy, Jaree, Alex, Kejleb, Heather, Jayci, Adam, William, Joseph and James; three step-grandchildren, Josh, Tane' and Jacob Miller; two great-grandchildren, Kylonna and Thomas; two sisters, Joyce Scheeler, Georgia Scheeler, both of N.D.; three brothers, Stephen Demaniow of N.D.; David Demaniow of Ariz.; Victor Demaniow of Mont Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie. Vigil services will be 730 p.ra Sunday, June 3, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Colstrip. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.ia Monday, June 4, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, with interment to follow in the Colstrip Cemetery.
