In Memory Of
Eugenia ?Jeanie? M. Demaniow, 75, Colstrip
November 4, 1936 ? September 26, 2012
Eugenia Marie (Jeanie) Demaniow
Mom to many, Gramma Jeanie to many, as well Gramma J was born on November 4, 1936. Raised on the farm in Dickinson ND. The eldest of 10 she helped in so many ways to care for her brothers and sister after their parents were killed in a tragic car accident.
She was married to Larry on January 23, 1956
She had very many special nieces and nephews
She was always the one to call no matter what the hour just to listen and give a little advice. She loved her magazines to read and endless crossword puzzles, what I called obsessed with Publishers Clearing House she always hoped the prize team would show up. She showed love by feeding everyone with all the delicious food and always more than enough.
She worked hard all her life for many employers waiting tables and being the best cook. Most famous for her prime rib, ham and bean soup, chicken and dumplings, and borscht and fry bread.
If you were lucky enough to get the recipes they are priceless. She had the candy jar for the grandkids and her stash of Almond Roca, the ?good? chocolate and Nutty Royals, you would have on if you worked for it. We never liked to hear our middle names spoken and if you did she meant it.
She collected hummingbirds, and angels. She loved flowers of any kind and had her roses for the Virgin Mother Mary.
She told us we all have guardian angels and God never gives you more than you can handle for it makes you stronger for things to come.
She prayed for all and said the Rosary with the church ladies and enjoyed Red Hat luncheons.
While listening to her many CD?s on her Bose stereo (which she deserved) saying her night prayers in the dark at her kitchen table. So many hard times that turned into happy memories now.
This last year I was so blessed to hear her stories of her youth, how she met Dad while roller skating his dark hair and beautiful blue eyes. She talked about the dances they would all drive to and explore the Badlands in ND picking berries.

She will be sorely missed by all that knew her, never forgotten, always with us, no longer so tired and in so much pain. Much Love Mom, there to tuck you in Lisa.
