Bio: Mrs. Fred P. Lamp age 94, passed away Friday, February 14, 2003, in Wisconsin. Mrs. was born September 11, 1908, to James and Augusta (Miller) McLean in Bakersville, P.A. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Lamp was employed as a private duty nurse for several years in this area.
Her survivors include one brother, Capt. Joseph (Bea) Brubaker of Abbeville, S. Carolina; 1 sister Emogene McCann of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Margaret Brubaker of MD; 1 daughter-in-law Georgian Alkins of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews. Her son Robert Elkins and her brother, John Brubaker, preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at 1:00 pm at Achterhoff Funeral Home, 1751 Peck St. with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery. Visitation: will be one hour before the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to Calvary Church. Expressions of sympathy to the family may be made through the funeral home.
