EARL F. MURPHY Earl F. Murphy, 76, of Cape Coral, died Thursday, July 15, 1 999 at his home. He was born In Columbus, OH to his parents Patrick W. and Gertrude H. Murphy March 18, 1923. He married his wife Eileen Keller in 1942 and they shared 52 years together prior to her death in 1995. While living in Columbus he was a member of St. Mary's Church, in Lancaster. He also was a member of St. Zaviers Male Choir, the 69th Signal Battalion and he was director of the St. Philips THe Apostle Choir for ten years. Mr. Murphy retired from Harmony Farms All Star Diary in 1984 as a sales supervisor after 44 years of service. He moved to Cape Coral in 1 985 and was a member or the St. Andrew Catholic Church. He served in the U.St Army during WWII and was the recipient of the Meritorious Citation. Survivors include his two sons: Earl F. Murphy, Jr., of Carroll, OH and Edward P. Murphy of Reynolds. OH; his brother, Donald E. Murphy of Columbus, OH; two sisters: Helen Gabbard and Marilyn Sexton both of Columbus, OH. Other survivors include seven grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews and their families as well as many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Murphy. A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday July 17, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metz Funeral Chapel 1306 Lafayette St., Cape Coral 542-2134.
