Jane A. Wanner Jane A. Wanner, 59, of Billings, passed away Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at the Deaconess Hospital after a long illness. She was born Jan. 20, 1941, in Tappen, N.D., the daughter of Christian and Irene Kranzler Wanner Jr. They came to the Billings area when she was sue weeks old and lived with her parents until Aug. 8, 1948. She went to Boulder until 1971 then returned to Billings and resided in several foster homes. She later lived with her foster mother, Sarah Tipps, now Sarah Lutsch, until 1983 when her mother took over Jane's care. . In 1997 she was under very excellent care Miss Wanner at Parkview Convalescent Center until she entered the hospital. They had many good times together, and Jane had many hobbies which included latch hook, embroidery, puzzles and plastic canvas. Jane loved bowling, swimming and was so proud of having swum the full length of Eagle Cliff Pool at RMC Jane received many bowling trophies and always properly displayed them in her home. Survivors include her loving mother, Irene Olsen; sister, Sandra Cannon of Spokane; two brothers, Kenneth (Diane) of Princeton, B.C., and Gary of Salt Lake City; eight uncles', seven aunts; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Donald O'Banion of Kingman, Ariz.; foster mother, Sarah Lutsch; and dear friends, the Owens family and Norman and Monica Nelson of Chilawack, B.C. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mr.and Mrs. Chris Wanner Sr., and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kranzler; father, Chris Wanner Jr.; and two sisters, Rosemary Wanner and Diana O'Banion.. Memorial will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 201 Wicks Lane. Memorials may be made to Yellowstone Association for Retarded Citizens, 602 18th St. W., Billings, MT 59102.
