Bio: Paul Wayne Lippincott, 83, Bethany, died May 4, 2009 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri. He was born March 11, 1926 in Eagleville, Missouri. He was the son of Virgil Harold Lippincott and Mary May (Schell) Lippincott Payton. His school years were all at Eagleville School. Before he graduated, he joined the Navy. He served his country in World War II from February 1944 through January 1946. He was called again to serve his country in October 1950 through February 1952 in Korea. He married Yvonne Stanley in 1950, they later divorced. He worked for Great Lakes Pipe Line in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1962 he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he continued to work for Williams Brothers Companies in the pipe line division as a shift chief for 38 years. On March 31, 1973 he married Judy Gayle Proctor. He retired in 1988 and enjoyed traveling where he settled in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas in 1992 where he enjoyed golfing every day. He was baptized at the Balboa Baptist Church. He moved home to the Eagleville area in May 2005. At that time he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. He lived the last few months of his life at the Bethany Care Center and the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Lippincott, May Payton, step-father Prentice (Pappy) Payton, a sister Nancy Carolyn Davis, and nephew, Harold Scott Cook. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Gayle Lippincott, beloved dog, Jiggs, sister Elizabeth Ann (Floyd) Nible, nieces and nephews, Peggy Cracraft, Bill Cook, Penny Gardner, Rod Cook, Jay Cook, Kimberly Blumrick, and James Davis; 5 great nieces and 6 great nephews, 7 great-great nieces, and 7 great-great nephews.
