He was an employee of the Batesville Casket Co., Customer Service Center in Indianapolis, and a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church at Beech Grove, Ind.On Jan. 20, 1979, he married Mary Ann Tekulve, and she survives; with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hirt, Batesville, Ind.; two sons, Stuward L. and Travis E. Hirt and a daughter, Lori Ann Hirt, all three at home; three brothers, David and Richard Hirt, both of Batesville, Ind., and Dennis Hirt, Cresent Springs, Ky.; three sisters, Darlene Hirt of Batesville, Ind., Doris Pytynia and Donna Hirt, both of Carmel, Ind.The mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Catholic Church of Oldenburg, with Father Sylvester Heptner and Father Larry Voelker officiating.Burial will be in the Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Oldenburg.Visitation will be at the Weigel Funeral Home, Batesville, Ind., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.There will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. Sunday.Memorial contributions may go to the Dale Hirt Family Educational Fund.--Greensburg Daily News (Ind)--Friday, October 16, 1992 Family Members Parents Edward H.
