Droste Jirfm Francis Droste, 50, 509 Rudolph, died Tuesday at KSB Hospital. He was bwu May 13, 1924, in Tampico, the son of Bernard and Catherine (Wirth) Droste, and was married to the former Mary Hamilton Aug. 28,1947, at Dixon. Droste had been employed as a butcher for Swift and Company and was a World War II veteran. His father preceded him in death. Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. James (Sharon) Morgan, Dixon; two sons, Larry, Pasco, Wash., and Scott, Dixon; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Droste, Rock Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Schauff, Rock Falls, and Mrs. William (Rosemary) Newell, Hampton, Va.; three brothers, Anthony, Rock Falls; Leo, La Grange, and James, St. Louis, Mo., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Schumm, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
