  [S927] Obituary. Robert Loftus Robert Loftus, 66, Geneseo, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1993, at Hammond-Henry Skilled Care, Geneseo. Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Malachy's Catholic Church, Geneseo, where he was a member. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Homes, Wright Chapel, Geneseo, with a rosary recited at 5. Memorials may be made to St. Malachy's Church Building Fund. Mr. Loftus was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Clinton, Iowa, the son of William H. and Dorothy G. Skov Loftus. He married Grace E. Wildemuth Feb. 26, 1949, In Atkinson. He graduated from Geneseo High School in 1945. He worked as a computer specialist at Rock Island Arsenal until retiring Jan. 1, 1988. He also was an insurance agent for many years. He was a World War n Navy veteran. After his retirement he enjoyed working on his farm near Andover. Survivors include the widow; daughters Karen Schmidt, Piano, Texas, Pam Johnson, Blair, Neb., Cindi Miller. Geneseo, and Roberta Schram, Freeport, HI.; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; his mother, Geneseo; sisters, LaVonne Reschke, Betty Neulelb and Gloria Hartman, all of Geneseo, and. Darlene Carlson, Pittsburg, Pa.
