GROH, Faye E. (Morris) Age 82, a longtime Fairfield resident, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at the home of her devoted daughter, Gail Laws, Moores Hill, Indiana. She was born in Butler County, OH on July 2, 1923, the daughter of Dow and Edna (Kohler) Morris and was a 1941 graduate of Hamilton High School. On August 24, 1946 in St. Ann Church, she married Carl G. Groh and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1970. Faye had worked as a bookkeeper for Herring-Hall Manufacturing from 1941-1950. She was a homemaker and caregiver for her husband Carl, for seventeen years. She later worked as a bookkeeper for Fairfield Pharmacy, for sixteen years, retiring in 1988. An avid card player, she also enjoyed dancing with her husband, in younger years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include her two children, Douglas (Nancy) Groh, of Camden, OH, and Gail (Robert) Laws, Moores Hill, Indiana; six grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Groh, Carly (Ryan) Langferman, Emily Groh, Adam Groh, R. J. Laws, and Elaina Groh; three great grandchildren, Coltan Groh, Brooke Groh, and Trenton Langferman; a sister, Mickey Bramble; caring nieces, Patti Grooms and Patty Tolle; caring nephew, Gary Bramble. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Pete Bramble. Faye will be missed by her many friends and family. Her courage through all her adversities was admired by all who knew her. She was always cheerful and had a good outlook on life. The family wishes to thank Marcia Holt and Faye Raiser for their kind and loving care. Special thanks to Charlie Moore of Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, for their assistance in Indiana. Prayers will be offered at 9:30AM Saturday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, Fairfield. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8:00PM Friday in the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Michael J.
