975. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Westbrook Elks Lodge 1784. He is survived by two sons, William H. Boysen Jr. of Greenwich and Steven R. Boysen of Westbrook and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 E. Main St., Clinton. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Allison C. Clough Jr., 80; Essex resident Allison C. Clough Jr. of Main Street, Essex, died Thursday at home after a long illness. He was 80. Mr. Clough was born in Asheville, N.C., and was educated at Culver Military Academy and the University of Virginia. He spent his early career in the paper industry working with Champion Paper, Sorg Paper, Chase Bag and Longview Fiber. He moved to Essex in 1965 and was a principal in the Baldwin Agency and involved in real estate development. He belonged to Silo-am Lodge 32 where he was a Mason of the highest degree. He was a former member of the Essex Rotary Club and the Black Hall Country Club. As an avid outdoorsman, he was a member of Ducks Unlimited and a life member of the National Rifle Association. Besides his wife, Muriel (Keller) Clough, he is survived by a daughter, Ellen C. Gillette of Seattle, Wash.; three sons, William S. Clough of Salem, Mass., Allison C. Clough III of Jacksonville, Fla., and James B. Nicholson of Sacramento, Calif.; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday at 1 1 a.m. at the Essex Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the nature conservation organization of your choice or the Essex Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 233, Ivoryton, CT 06498. The Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., in the Centerbrook section of Essex, is in charge of arrangements.
