Mischler, Mary Beth Niksic (Kemal), Jeanne M. Laird (Tom), Barbara A. Rossi (Dave), and Steven E. Mischler (Shannon); grandfather of T.J., Jenny, Paula, Jamie, Troy, Jack, Mary Rose, Will, Sead, Peter, Amila, and Eva; brother of John V. and the late Wernert E. Mischler; also survived by countless nieces and nephews. A lifelong resident of the East End, Bill attended Central Catholic High School. In 1941, he enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and piloted the B-24 Liberator. Upon his return to Pittsburgh, he completed his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and began a long career with Koppers as a professional engineer and manager. Soon after, he met his wife of 60 years, Jeanne Klingensmith, whom he married at Sacred Heart Church, where he remained a lifelong parishioner.
