Mrs. Anne Knoeringer died Friday, April 17, 2010, at Holly Manor Care Center in Mendham, N.J. She was 88. Services will be on Monday at 9 a.m. from the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Road, Gillette, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church, Stirling, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Anne was born in Hoboken, N.J., and lived in Jersey City before moving to Stirling in 1950. She worked as a press operator at Electrical Industries in Murray Hill for 25 years before retiring in 1986. Anne was a member of the Long Hill Senior Citizens, where her husband was past president. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles J Knoeringer, in 2001. Anne is survived by her two sons, Charles J. Jr. and his wife, Janet, and Robert F. and his wife, Kim; a sister, Grace Rankin, and two grandchildren, Charles III and Katherine.
