Together, Verna and Clarence had three children, Mildred Virginia Griffin b.1913 (married Daniel Rogers), Margaret Eldon Griffin b. 1915 (married Roy L. Kelly), and James Griffin b. 1918 (married Marian G. Cloud). On May 1, 1920 at Shreveport, Louisiana, she married Charles Lawrence Weiss. Verna & Charles had two daughters, Grace Anita Weiss b. 1921 (married Charles A. Wright and 2nd Ernest E. Davis) and Beverly Weiss b. 1924 (married Alvin W.
