Metzger, the daughter of Anthony M. and Elizabeth Ramsenthaler of Fenton, on January 26, 1894.After marriage they settled in Tyrone Township where they farmed and raised their children. Chester left his parents, wife Elizabeth and three young children, Anna,six years, Nellie five years and Benjamin less than two years old when he died on the 22nd of September, 1900 of a severe spinal chord injury he suffered in Tyrone in an accident which happened one week earlier.
