[S927] Obituary. Harvey G. Hoff, 75, of Lebanon died Friday, June 29, at his home. Harvey was born in Parkston, S.D.He played baseball and graduated from Tripp High School in South Dakota. Harvey enlisted in the Army on Sept. 8, 1955, and served 41 years before retiring in 1996. Harvey married Mary Robertson on Dec. 1, 1990, in Lebanon. Harvey was an active member of the American Legion Santiam Post 51. He loved fishing with his wife and sometimes Mary would let Harvey beat her fishing with the most fish and the biggest. Harvey also loved going goose Harvey G. ' Hoff hunting every winter. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Lebanon; sons Tim Hoff and wife Lucretia of Austin, Texas, and Mike Hoff of Lebanon; daughter Angela Kau and husband Rod of Lebanon; mother Edna Hoff of Tripp, S.D. ; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, at the River Center in Lebanon. Private inurnment will be at the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice and sent in care of Huston-lost Funeral Home, 86 W.Grant St., Lebanon, OR 97355.
