Bio: HAROLD COXLEY LACYNovember 18, 1923 ~ March 24, 2013 Harold Coxley Lacy, 89, of Ridgefield, Washington, passed away on March 24, 2013. He was born in Moville, Iowa in 1923.He served in the U.S. Navy from November, 1940 to October 1945.Harold graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and was self-employed as a land surveyor.He was a member of the St. Mary of Guadalupe Church in Ridgefield, Washington, the Pearl Harbor Survivors, the Elks and the Knights of Columbus.He enjoyed horseback riding and genealogy.Harold is survived by his wife, Clara; children, Laura Skehan, Marc, Paul, Dean, and Donna Lacy-Bacon; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Mary of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 28309 NW 11th Ave., Ridgefield, WA 98642.Please make your memorial donations to Catholic Community Services in Vancouver, Washington.Published in The Columbian, Vancouver, WA on April 9, 2013
