Bio: Paul D. Peplinski, age 81, of Wibaux, Montana, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson, North Dakota. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Silha Funeral Home in Beach. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Silha Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Philip's Catholic Church in St. Philip's, Montana. Rite of Committal will be held in St. Philip's Cemetery in St. Philip's. Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements. Paul was born on February 10, 1933 in Beach, a son of Joseph and Frances (Kierzek) Peplinski. He was raised on the family farm southeast of Wibaux. He received his early education at St. Philip?s School and high school at Sacred Heart High School in Miles City, Montana graduating with the class of 1951. Paul received a scholarship to attend Carroll College in Helena, Montana, but declined the scholarship so he could return to the family farm. Paul met and married his high school sweetheart Mary Rose Hoffman on June 23, 1952 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glendive, Montana. After their marriage they resided on the family farm until the time of his death.Paul was a family man and loved being with them, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Philip?s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus of Wibaux. Paul was on the Farmers Union board of Beach, the Ashline Telephone board, the MonDak Wool Growers and the St. Philip?s School Board. He could fix and repair about anything, he was a mechanic and loved swathing and combining. Last year, Paul even ran the combine all through the harvest season.Paul was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley Peplinski; infant sister, Helen Peplinski and sister, Leona Peplinski.Paul is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Mary Rose Peplinski on the family farm southeast of Wibaux; two sons, David (Sandi) Peplinski and Daniel (Cathy) Peplinski both on the family farm southeast of Wibaux; two daughters, Karen Wojahn of Beach and Connie (Jeff) Roberts of Wibaux; nine grandchildren, Misty Farnstrom, Dale Peplinski, Chad Peplinski, Lisa Lester, Jodi Knaub, Julie Schirado, JessiKay Noll, Travis Wojahn and Bud Roberts; sixteen great-grandchildren with one due in August; one brother, John (Gertrude) Peplinski of Lake Wales, Florida; one sister, Rosemary (Fred) Ashford of Cimarron, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews
