Crash Victim's Rites Saturday GLENDIVE Funeral services for George McPherson. 42. West Glendive, will be Saturday a 2 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Rev. Henry Meyer officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Daw son County Cemetery. The Koch Hubel-Silvernale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, Mr McPherson was killed Wed- nesday night in a one-car accident west of Glendive. He was born Aug. 18, 1920, at Lambert, living there briefly until moving to New York City. Later he came to Billings to live with the LaMotte family for five years. He then moved to Gardiner. He joined the Marines in 1941, was decorated for bravery, and received the Purple Heart. He married Pauleen Hoffman March 7. 1945, at Miles City. He was employed by the Montana State Highway Department at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Marlene, and. Louise, of the family home; his father. Wallace McPherson. Danville, Wash.; two brothers, Cleto McPherson, Jardine, and Alvin McPherson of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Winkes. Grangeville, Idaho, and Mrs. Rita Omstott, Glendive.
