Obituary for Ronald Bruce Troelsch
Ronald Bruce Troelsch, 57, died June 20, 2015 in his Muhlenberg Township residence.
He was the longtime companion of Susan Williams.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Joan (Miller) Troelsch, Reading and the late Bruce Troelsch.
He was a graduate of Reading High School.
Ronald was employed for 37 years as a steel worker for Cambridge-Lee Industries.
He was a member of the Steel Workers Association and worked with Easter Seals and the United Way.
Ronald was an avid Reading and Philadelphia Phillies fan.
He was an advocate for disabled and special needs individuals.
In addition to his mother and companion, he is survived by two children, Jason M. Troelsch, husband of Tina, Foley, AL and Rebecca E. Troelsch, Kenhorst; two siblings, Steven B., husband of Sharon M. Troelsch, Landisville and Debra A. Manderewicz, Spring Township and his granddaughter, Aubree N. Troelsch.
Services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., at the above address to help defray funeral expenses.
