Joseph E. Eisenhauer, 56, of Andrews, IN, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at 7:02 p.m. at his residence.
Mr. Eisenhauer graduated from Huntington North High School in 1978. He was a supervisor at Bendix Corporation. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Huntington. He served on the Mt. Etna Fire Department and was on the advisory board for the Polk Township Trustee.
He was born June 14, 1960, in Huntington to Thomas and Barbara Walker Eisenhauer. His parents survive in Huntington. He married Renee Ehinger on Nov. 8, 1980, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington. She survives.
Additional survivors are two sons, Josh (Lane) Eisenhauer, of Bloomington, and Jake (Gina) Eisenhauer, of New Haven; three daughters, Emily (Jarrid Spicer) Eisenhauer, of Indianapolis; Hannah (Dale) Dinius, of Huntington; and Catie (Andy) Ambriole, of Roanoke; two brothers, Christopher (Lynette) Eisenhauer, of Fort Wayne, and Thomas (Teresa) Eisenhauer, of Huntington; a sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Lusch, of Huntington; and seven grandchildren, Isaac Dinius, Laurel Dinius, Eli Dinius, Samson Dinius, Kayna Ambriole, Kinze Ambriole and June Spicer.
Calling is Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016,at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Steve Durrwachter officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington.
