Obituary
Mary Lou Loudiana, 75, of Massillon, passed away on January 8, 2019 after a short, sudden illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio on February 15, 1943 to the late Lawrence and Julia (Fox) Bourquin.
She attended St. Paul Catholic School in Canton and graduated from Canton Central Catholic High School in 1961.
Mary Lou married Michael J. Loudiana on September 12, 1964 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Canton.
She worked for 30 years as a billing specialist for a urology group in Akron, where she retired in 2017.
Mary Lou was active at her church, St. Mary?s in Massillon, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, volunteered for BINGO, served as a Eucharistic Minister and attended Mass and Novena on Monday nights.
In her spare time, she enjoyed her Tuesday swimming group and reading books for her library book club. She also loved baseball, especially the Indians, and watching any sports her grandchildren played. She was their biggest fan.
Mary Lou will always be remembered for being a great and loving wife to her husband of 54 years, and an amazing mother and grandmother.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael; daughters Jennifer (Brian Hollinger) Loudiana, Julia (JB) Abraham, and Carrie (Jamie) Marceric; grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Michael, Olivia, Gavin and Molly; and her sister Susanne Bourquin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Gretchko officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mary Lou?s name to the St. Mary?s Rosary Altar Society, 206 Cherry Rd. Ne, Massillon, Ohio 44646.
