Marjorie Ruth Peterson, the daughter of Arthur George and Josephine Sarah (Lind) Peterson, was born September 16, 1922 at Badger. She received her education in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge High School. She was united in marriage to Raymond Peltz on August 25, 1947 at the First Presbyterian Church in Omaha, Nebraska. The couple farmed together for many years in Humboldt County until their retirement in 1975 when they moved to Humboldt. In 1997, they made their home in Fort Dodge. She became a resident of the Villa Care Center in August of 2011. Marjorie was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed singing and gardening. In their retirement, She and Ray spent their winters in Texas where Marjorie enjoyed fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.Published by Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home.
