Potter, 84, of Elm Vulley Road, died Saturday morning in his home of an illness. Mr. Potter was a farmer. He was bom Aug. 17, 1908, in Galien, and was a lifelong area resident. On April 8, 1931, in Chicago, he married Frances Zoric. She survives with three daughters, Jeannette Bensing of Minneapolis, Patricia McKenzie of Ann Arbor, and Dorothy Potter Barnett of Lansing; a son, John of Galien; II grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge and Modem Woodmen of America. He was a member of the Galien District School Board for 22 years. Seivices will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Connelly-Noble Funeral Home. Burial will be in Galien Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Mcmoriul contributions may be made to Galien High School Library.
