F. Helgesen, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, October 14, 2016 at Aurora Hospital. She was born on December 4, 1926 to the late John and Agnes (Schlosser) Schroeder in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. On April 19, 1947 she married Alvin C. Helgesen at St. George Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2011. Bunny was a homemaker and worked at Phillips Brothers as a bookkeeper for 20 years. Bunny was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Bunny had a lifelong love of singing and dancing and as a teenager performed with the USO. As a young wife and mother she was a Brownie and Girl Scout Troop Leader and enjoyed making costumes for her daughters dance recitals. Bunny was a member of the Women of the Moose #156, enjoyed playing bingo, going on casino trips and going up north. Bunny is survived by her two loving daughters, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and her sister. A Mass of Christian Burial for Bunny will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary?s Catholic Church (corner of 39th Ave. and 73rd St.).
