Biography
Elizabeth Anne "Ehrhardt" Wiggin, 81, died on Tuesday Oct. 14, 2008 at Morrisview Nursing Home in Morris Township, NJ.
She was born and raised in East Greenwich, RI, and lived in the Indian Lake section of Denville before moving to Parsippany 25 years ago.
She was an extraordinary Mother and an active volunteer. In 2002 she received a United States House of Representatives Citation for her years as a 24/7 volunteer at Morrisview Nursing Home in Morris Township.
Her motto "Do something good for others, big or small, and do it without bragging." May her enthusiasm and dedication to providing joy to others be an inspiration to all.
She had also been an Alumnus of several Outward Bound excursions while in her sixties.
Her first husband Joseph Ehrhardt died in 1971 and a brother Robert Lyons died in 1998.
She is survived by her husband Peter J. Wiggin whom she married on Aug. 23, 1992.
Her children Joanne and her husband Joseph Przyhocki of Parsippany, Lois Ehrhardt of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Jane Ehrhardt of Bartonsville, PA, Mary Ehrhardt and Joseph Ehrhardt both of Leonardo, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joseph and his wife Kathleen Przyhocki, Heather Przyhocki, Jeremy Przyhocki, Krista Rose Paolucci, Jessica Paolucci, Anthony Paolucci, Marlana Ehrhardt, as well as her Great Grandchildren Emma, Caila, and Lea Przyhocki.
Her sisters Lee Colantonia and Florrie Rhoades both of Warwick, RI, and her brothers Philip Lyons of Daytona, Fla, and Joseph Lyons of Wickford, RI also survive her.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday October 25, 2008 form 2-4 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday Afternoon at a time to be determined.
