Thomas J. Marshall, Riverside Thomas J. Marshall, 60, a 25-year resident of Riverside, died there Wednesday after a lengthy illness. He was born in Evening Shade, Ark. He was graduated from UCLA with a degree in business administration. He was the assistant manager of Ohrbach's Wilshire Boulevard store and was later the buyer manager and general merchandise manager for Sage's. He was also the garden shop manager for Two Guys and Builders Emporium. In San Bernardino and Redlands, he was a partner in Shamrock Stores and La Paloma Securities. He served in the Ordinance Unit of the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg and worked there with Werner Von Braun on missiles. Survivors include his wife, Zella; a daughter, Marilyn, two sons, James and Donald, all of Riverside, a brother and three sisters. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Mason-McKittrick Chapel, 9645 Magnolia Ave., Riverside. Private entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
