Sr. "Jamie" Age 46, of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1 1, 201 1, at his home. Jamie was born on October 20, 1964 in Brockport, NY, son of the late John and Jacqueline Ungerland. Jamie was employed by the Elmira Heights School District as a bus driver for 25 years and was an owner and operator of his own landscaping business. Jamie was a positive influence to his sons as he coached them in Elmira Heights Little League Baseball for over 20 years, also caring greatly about their teammates. His love in the summer was time spent at Waneta Lake. Jamie was dedicated to the needs of his family and will be greatly missed by all. Jamie is survived by his wife of 25 years, Stacy; sons, J.T., Jared and Tyler; sisters, Jackie. (John) Dickinson of FL and Mary (Bud) Boston of NC; brothers, Pete (Marianne) Ungerland of FL and Paul (Claudia) Ungerland of Schenectady, NY; mother-in-law, Marbury Cafolla; sister and brother-in-law, Jamie (Mark) Shaw and Gene (Tina) Cafolla; sister-in-law, Joann Ungerland; several nieces and nephews; family dogs, Riley, Tucker and Winston. Jamie was predeceased by his brothers, John Jr. and Joe Ungerland. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, April 1 5, 201 1 from 4 to 6 p.m., at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Deacon William Dougherty officiating. Interment will take place in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
