S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.He was involved with the golf industry for 25 years. He was currently employed as the maintenance director of The Golf Club at Camelot in Lomira, and was the assistant supervisor at West Bend Lakes Golf Club in West Bend. Donald was a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association, the Professional Photography Association and the Mineral Point American Legion.Those Donald leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Kay; five children, Jennifer (Brad) Davis, Terri (Shaun) McMahon, and Callie Shaffer, all of Rome, NY, and Randy (Ann) Hackbarth, and Kerri (Andre') Leszczynski, both of Mosinee; a brother, Ken (Catherine) Shaffer of Apollo, PA; a sister, Norma (David) King of Brechin, Ontario, Canada; seven grandchildren; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; other relatives, and friends.Burial will be at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
