Agnes Dorothy Kruger GREENWICH Agnes Dorothy Kruger, 85, a resident of Greenwich, and formerly of Cambridge, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, at Pleasant Valley Health Care Facility in Argyle. Born June 5, 1919, in Paterson, N.J, she was the daughter of Thomas and Adeline (Coons) Fleming. Mrs. Kruger was educated in New Jersey and earned her nursing degree from the New Jersey Nursing Academy in Bergen County. After working for the war effort at the Curtis Wright Engine Assembly Plant during the 1940s, Mrs. Kruger began her nursing career at Bergin Pines County Hospital in New Jersey, and continued her career as an emergency room technician at Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge, upon moving there in 1966. She retired from the hospital after 20 years of service. She was acommunicant of St. Patrick's Church in Cambridge. Mrs. Kruger enjoyed crocheting, craft work, and vacationing summers in the Northeast king dom of Vermont. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Walter W. Kruger Sr., who died in 1999, and a son, Raymond Walter Kruger, who died in 1983. She is survived by a son, Walter Kruger Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Vermont; two grandchildren, Inger McDonald and her husband, D.J, of Greenwich, and Kristi Deitz and her husband, David, of Idaho; two step-grandchildren, Brandianne Stipano and Christopher Stipano Jr. of Glens Falls; five greatgrandchildren: Adam, Marissa, and Abbie Gillis of Greenwich, and Ryan and Taylor Deitz of Idaho. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich. Spring interment will be at Woodlands Cemetery, Cambridge.
