Bio: (Taken from family records and transcribed by Michael Bowen, MRB, #47351043)She was born in Bessarabia, South Russia to Gottfried and Elizabeth (Hoehn) Schlechter on July 5, 1863. Gottfried and Elizabeth Schlechter and their seven children arrived at New York from Bremen, Germany on November 8, 1879 aboard the Neckar and settled six miles northwest of Scotland.Her first marriage was to John Ochsner about 1883; she was widowed 22 Apr 1904; her second marriage was to John Becker of Scotland, South Dakota in April 1907 at Medina, North Dakota. Their children were: John Henry Ochsner (2 Dec 1883-25 Mar 1941), Lydia Ochsner, Mrs. Robert Rockwood (11 Aug 1885-15 Jan 1972), George Manuel Ochsner (26 Jun 1890-3 Aug 1981, Mahnomen County, Minnesota and Frederick William Ochsner (25 Sep 1894-11 Oct 1965).
