JEROME - Services have been set for Lynwood (Butch) Lambrix, 62, of Jerome, formerly of Monroe County, who died at 6:31 p.m. Sunday at Hillsdale Community Medical Center.Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Allore chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, Monroe. He will lie in state from 9 until services at 10 a.m. Friday at Victory Temple Church of God, Monroe. The Rev. Alfred Whittaker will officiate. Burial will be in St. Jospeh Cemetery, Monroe.Born Feb. 2, 1945, in Monroe, he was the son of Lawrence and Adeline (Masson) Lambrix. He married Barbara (Edwards) Grzesiek Aug. 9, 1997.A floor installer, he worked for Mastercraft for more than 33 years, retiring in 1996.He was a member of Victory Temple Church of God.Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Bonita (Mark) Hoffman of Maybee, Melisa (Gene) Erlandson of Lincoln Park and Shannon (Eddie) Marsh of Fayetteville, Tenn.; two step-sons, Jeffrey (Julie) Grzesiek of Brownstown Township and Paul (Missy) Grzesiek of Monroe; a stepdaughter, Michele (Eric) Rankin of Pinckney; four brothers, Lawrence (Phyllis), Charles (Shirley), Lloyd (Carolyn) and Lyle (Paula), all of Monroe; four sisters, Elaine (Donald) Hollister of Carleton, Donna (Leroy) Southworth of Alger, Diane (Doug) Thorn of Flat Rock and Joyce (George) Lechy of Monroe, and eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lynwood (Butchie) Jr.Online condolences may be sent through www.martensonfuneralhome.com.
