Beryl Inez RIEHM Beryl Riehm, christened Beryl Inez Riehm Dees, died Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at Washoe progressive Care Center in Sparks, NV. She perished from complications due to organ failure. Born to Norma Beryl (Wardleigh) & George Henry Dees in Odeen, UT, on Novem ber 26, 1931, Beryl was a daughter of the Southern Pacific Railroad, the Great Depression, and World War II as well. Beryl resided in Northern Nevada & Northeastern California all her life. She graduated from Sparks High School in 1949, and attended the University of Nevada, Reno. A loving working mother, Beryl is survived her 3 boys: Martin Rex, George Edward & Mark Richard Riehm. She is also survived by her ex-husband, John Rex Riehm, Jr.; her good friend, Terry Lemon & 4 grandsons: Kyle Deputy Riehm, Jesse William, Chandler Ward & Trevor Rex Riehm. Beryl enjoyed the movies, exhibiting her oil paintings & loved world travel. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, August 22, 2004 at the Lovelock Funeral Home, 655 11th St, from 6-9pm. Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 10am. A gathering of friends & family will be held in the church hall after services & a graveside blessing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite Armed Forces Emergency Relief Fund (wwwafrtrust.org; Army Emergency Relief toll free 866-878-6378). Beryl brightened our lives. Her life was a blessing for us all.
